1. About Cockpit LogBook

Cockpit LogBook is a digital flight logging platform designed to help pilots record, organise and analyse their flying experience.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age or the legal age required in your country to enter into a binding agreement.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with any applicable aviation regulations.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account.
• Keeping your password confidential.
• Ensuring your account information remains accurate.
• All activity carried out using your account.

4. Flight Records

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all flight information entered into Cockpit LogBook.

Cockpit LogBook does not verify the accuracy of flight times, aircraft registrations, licences, ratings or any other operational information entered by users.

5. Not an Official Aviation Record

Cockpit LogBook is an electronic logbook designed for convenience and record management.

Unless specifically accepted by the relevant aviation authority, airline or employer, Cockpit LogBook should not be relied upon as your sole official flight record.

Users are responsible for maintaining any records required by their national aviation authority.

6. Data Backup

While we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data, no electronic storage system can guarantee against loss.

Users are encouraged to keep independent backups of important flight records.

Cockpit LogBook shall not be liable for loss of data resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Statistics and Calculations

Flight totals, currency calculations, summaries and analytics are provided for convenience.

Although every effort is made to ensure calculations are accurate, users must independently verify any figures used for:

• Licence applications
• Operator requirements
• Employment applications
• Regulatory compliance
• Currency requirements

8. Subscription

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Upload malicious software.
• Copy, reverse engineer or redistribute any part of the Service.
• Interfere with other users' access.

10. Intellectual Property

The Cockpit LogBook name, branding, logos, software, graphics and content remain the intellectual property of Cockpit LogBook unless otherwise stated.

You retain ownership of the flight data that you enter.

By using the Service you consent to the collection and processing of information as described within that policy.

12. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, software updates or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect access.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cockpit LogBook shall not be liable for:

• Loss of flight records
• Loss of business or employment opportunities
• Regulatory issues arising from inaccurate entries
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Decisions made using information generated by the Service

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts where these Terms have been breached or where necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Service.

Users may delete their account at any time.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.

Continued use of Cockpit LogBook after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
